Milk Thistle is a small prickly plant native to the Mediterranean region. The name comes from the milky fluid that leaks out when the leaves or stems are broken. Milk Thistle is often recommended for liver support and cleansing, but its herbal power goes far beyond the health of the liver. Recent studies on milk thistle seed and extract indicate that this herb, used in traditional applications for at least the past two and a half millennia, has ingredients which can help levels of cholesterol, protect the kidneys and help flush heavy metals from the body.
Fed at 15 ml per day 1 litre will last for 66 days.

Great product
I purchased he liquid milk thistle for my poorly pony, who also had raised liver results. After 4 weeks of being on this liquid, his liver came right down (42.7, the range is below 42). He is remaining on this liquid indefinitely now and we hope that his next bloods come back completely within range - this liquid is the only addition he has had during this time so I have no doubt this liquid does what it says on the bottle.
Great Product
This product is being given to a shetland pony diagnosed with liver failure.
I feel it has definitely increased his appetite and his whole manner has perked up.
I personally put the liquid onto a small square of bread and he snatches it out of my hand. That way you know it's been taken.
