L-Carnitine plays an important role in energy metabolism. It carries Long chain fatty acids into mitochondria (the cell furnace) where they are converted into energy for muscle contraction.
L-Carnitine will help to release more energy during warm up, allows rapid recovery after hard work and prevents exhaustion.
L-carnitine is a naturally occurring nutrient found in animals and plants. Horses gain L-Carnitine through their diet or through the synthesis of amino acids. However, horses will not ususally be able to replace the extensive losses of L-Carnitine which occur in heavy or fast work.

Directions for use:
- Give 10ml orally 2-3 times weekly.
- Give a final measure 4-6 hours before hard work.
Store in a cool dry place at 10 - 20 degrees C.
